VMC specialties include Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Express Care, Foot and Ankle Surgery (Podiatry), and General Surgery. The clinic provides an array of ancillary services including a full service lab and radiology departments with onsite CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and DEXA services.

The Family Practice department is staffed by 5 physicians, and call is shared with three mid-level providers, for a 1:8 call ratio. The group is interested in recruiting to manage the community needs for primary care.

There is a backup coverage system in place requiring occassional inpatient support during high volume times. The group is interested in recruiting to support the community need for primary care.

Valley Medical Center is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner to join our multi-specialty group totaling 31 providers located in the Lewis-Clark Valley. This is an excellent, full-time opportunity for an ARNP with Family Practice or Urgent Care certification. You will be assisting our Express Care providers in covering the seven-day-a-week outpatient urgent care clinics. The Express Care department is staffed by 4 physicians and 2 NPs alternating coverage for the two locations.

The clinic provides an array of ancillary services including a full service lab and radiology departments with on-site CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and DEXA services. We utilize a fully implemented EMR.

Qualified candidates will be licensed as an NP in the states of Idaho and Washington, possess 2+ years NP experience (preferably in FP), and a graduate from an accredited program (required). Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

The Urology department will provide both inpatient and outpatient based services. The group is expanding in response to the community need for additional urology access. Access in neighboring community to surgical robotics.
